In “Learn How to Bring More Buyers and Media to Your Booth,” IHA staff will walk through the Exhibitor Marketing Kit, explaining the 25 marketing, promotion and public relations tools the Show offers exhibitors. Most of the services are free and are designed to help exhibitors promote themselves to the buyer attendees and attract attention from the consumer and trade media, bloggers and influencers. Taking advantage of the programs and services can help a company stand out from its competition and differentiate itself to buyers and media.
New services this year include a digital marketing program allowing exhibitors to create customized invitations to their buyers, and the Trending Today Preview, a pre-Show event this year focusing on the specialty beverage movement. Other services discussed include the 2018 Show buyers and media lists, lead retrieval opportunities, Housewares Connect 365 listings, New Product Showcase and IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia), sponsorships, special booth signage, ColorWatch by Pantone display, 2019 Show Preview press event, Show News Center and press kit distribution, promoting special events and new products to the media, the traveling media tour and trade publication advertising and editorial opportunities. This webinar will be first presented on Nov. 14 and offered again Dec. 5, Jan. 3 & 23. Each program is customized based on deadlines and services still available.
The services available to exhibitors to attract news media attention will be the focus of “Maximize Your Media Exposure at the Show” on Jan. 9. This webinar will delve more deeply into the Marketing Kit programs to help exhibitors be a part of the 500 million consumer impressions the International Home + Housewares Show generates.
“Making Grand Stands: Display Tips for New Exhibitors” will be presented Nov. 28. Directed at new exhibitors, this program will discuss the vital ingredients needed in planning for a new booth at the Show. Visual merchandiser Matthew Goodman will explain the logistics needed to create a booth display for 10’x10’, 10’x20’ or 10’x30’ booth sizes, along with what it takes to create a successful, fashion-forward booth that best displays a company’s merchandise.
On Dec. 12, Goodman returns to present “Fundamentals of a Well-Designed Booth,” explaining the essential elements that support a well-designed trade show booth and how exhibitors can create and implement a unique experience for their buyers and enhance sales. Goodman will offer tips on how the overall plan, booth layout and physical placement of product can increase sales and explain how exhibitors can enter IHA’s Global Innovation Award (gia) for Booth Design, which is announced at the Show.
All IHA webinars are recorded and posted on IHA’s website for exhibitors who cannot listen to the initial airing or want to share with other staff or vendors such as PR agencies.
