In-Booth Special Events
How to draw news media and buyers to your booth? Consider a special event (or two). While celebrity appearances are always a big draw, media are also attracted to special events like product demonstrations, meet and greets with founders or brand ambassadors, cooking demos, tastings or themed events. Think lively, visual, special access.
Once you’ve got an event that fits the bill, make sure to spread the word in Connect 365, our online Show directory. All you have to do is enter your event to the In-Booth Special Events tab in your company listing.
Any buyer that pulls up your company will see it. But best of all, there’s a special search option where attendees can pull up all the In-Booth Special Events organized by time and day. (And yes, this information is synced in Connect 365 and the official Show app, which attendees use onsite.)
You can enter your events at any time, but the In-Booth Special Events search function will go live in mid-February. We encourage you to enter any information by Friday, March 6.
There will be a special tab in Connect 365 (which is also synced in the Show app), where media will be encouraged to pull up a listing of all the Show’s In-Booth Special Events, organized by time and day. The Show PR team will also rely on this function when preparing media tours or escorting TV crews around the Show floor.

You can also use a pre-Show media registration list (available in mid-February) to invite pre-registered media directly.
